It is very rare that I ever make plates!
They are over double the amount of clay needed to make a mug, they need more glaze, they have a higher chance of failure glaze wise, and they take up a whole shelf to themselves in the kiln! But even though they have been quite the task, they have been a lot of fun to make!
I have multiple of these plates! Although they are all glazed in the same colours, each plate is unique. Please keep this in mind if you decide to purchase one of these.
